Bibliotheca has introduced new Windows 11 upgrade kits for flexAMH systems, providing a streamlined way to upgrade system PCs and support long-term performance and compatibility.
These new kits replace the previously planned upgrade option and are available for a range of flexAMH configurations.
Products affected
- flex AMH 520/550/570 - all patron inductions
- flex AMH 540 - staff induction
- flex bulkSeparator
- flex bookDrop PC kit
What is changing
The previous Windows 11 upgrade kit has been discontinued and replaced with two new upgrade options:
- Windows 11 upgrade kit for flexAMH 520, 540, 550, and 570 systems, as well as flex bulkSeparator
- Windows 11 upgrade kit for flexAMH bookDrop PC kit
These updated kits are designed to simplify the upgrade process and ensure compatibility across different system configurations.
What’s included
Each upgrade kit includes:
- A new industrial computer unit
- Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024 with the flexAMH software image preinstalled
- Required mounting accessories and adapters for installation
This allows systems to be upgraded with preconfigured hardware, reducing setup complexity.
Compatibility
The new upgrade kits are compatible with all generations of PCs used in flexAMH systems since 2017, regardless of the current operating system.
This ensures a consistent upgrade path across both newer and older system installations.
These upgrade kits are designed to support existing system components while enabling the transition to Windows 11.
Availability
The new Windows 11 upgrade kits are available now for flexAMH systems.
