To ensure long-term stability and reflect the continued evolution of the open+ platform, all open+ web applications and APIs currently hosted on the cloudlibrary.net domain are transitioning to a new dedicated domain: openpluslibrary.com.
This migration will take place in phases, starting May 20, 2025, and concluding June 17, 2025. The legacy domain will be permanently decommissioned on July 1, 2025.
Migration Timeline
May 20, 2025
▪︎ Info screens will be displayed for users accessing open+ reserve and open+ count & reserve administration, notifying them of the new domain and providing updated links:
https://reserve.openpluslibrary.com
https://count.openpluslibrary.com
▪︎ API connections will begin transitioning to the new domain.
June 17, 2025
▪︎ All open+ services will be fully migrated from the cloudlibrary.net domain to the new openpluslibrary.com domain. After this date, the old URLs will no longer work.

▪︎ All cloudlibrary.net URLs will be deactivated.
▪︎ Attempting to access these URLs will result in a “Page Not Found” error.
Actions for open+ Customers
If you use open+ count & reserve:
▪︎ Update your network settings to allow access to:
https://count.openpluslibrary.com
https://occupancyapi.openpluslibrary.com
▪︎ Begin using the new admin login URL starting May 19.
If you use open+ reserve:
▪︎ Update your network to allow:
https://reserve.openpluslibrary.com
http://qrcoder.openpluslibrary.com
https://occupancyapi.openpluslibrary.com
▪︎ Update any links or bookmarks used by your patrons.
▪︎ The new reserve URL format is:
https://reserve.openpluslibrary.com/REGION/LIBRARY
Where REGION refers to your region (e.g., nordic, us, uk, central-eu, apac), and LIBRARY is the name assigned in your configuration.
If you use open+ occupancy screens:
▪︎ Reconfigure screens to use the new domain:
https://occupancy.openpluslibrary.com
▪︎ On your screen/TV device, ensure the new URL is loaded on startup.
▪︎ Remove any screens still using cloudlibrary.net URLs after June 17.
If your library uses embedded occupancy widgets:
For the customers using widgets, they should ensure that the library websites using embedded widgets are updated to use the new URL. The path will be the same, but the domain needs to be adjusted in the URL.
E.g. for the test widget for the Nordic / Bibliotheca / Cordura Office Library URL ▪︎ https://caps.cloudlibrary.net/widgets/counter?id=6024ae5c-0caf-48b0-a7ac12b64ec928ee&lang=en-us
should be updated to
