quickConnect v2.10 | Enhanced functionality and new features

We’re pleased to announce the release of quickConnect v2.10, bringing expanded kiosk functionality, new integrations, and several UI and compliance upgrades that improve both patron experience and back-end operations.  

SMS Receipts Now Available 

quickConnect now supports SMS receipts, offering a fast, reliable, and environmentally friendly alternative to printed and emailed receipts. 

▪︎ Accessible anytime – No internet connection required to retrieve.
▪︎ Reduced paper waste – Supports sustainability goals.
▪︎ Customizable formatting – SMS headers and footers can be configured independently from printed receipts.
▪︎ Multi-language support – Display different receipt text based on the selected kiosk language.
▪︎ SMS receipts enhance the patron experience while supporting operational efficiency and environmental responsibility. 

 

Library Contributions Made Easy 

Libraries can now accept donations directly at the kiosk, removing the need for third-party tools like Pharos. 

 

uniFi+ Wayfinding on selfCheck  

Patrons can now access uniFi+ Wayfinding directly on selfCheck kiosks, with no touchscreen required. 

▪︎ Navigate library floor maps, item locations, announcements. 
▪︎ Supports multiple languages.
▪︎ Bibliotheca offers a design service to help libraries create high-quality, schematic floor maps for the best possible experience. 

 

 

New ‘Clarity’ Theme for Enhanced Accessibility 

A clean, high-contrast interface designed to maximize visibility and meet accessibility needs. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Communico & LocalHop Event Integrations 

Library events from Communico Attend and LocalHop can now be displayed and explored on kiosks and patrons can view, print, or email event details. 

 
 

NoveList Integration Upgrades 

Now with three new features: 

▪︎ Display of “Why was this book recommended?” info 
▪︎ Hyperlinked book suggestions in email receipts 
▪︎ QR codes on printed receipts for easy catalog access 

 

Improved Email Authentication 

OAuth authentication is now supported for Office365 email servers. 

▪︎ Prepares for end-of-life of Basic Auth.  
▪︎ More secure email handling.
