quickConnect v2.11 | Personalized experiences and new integrations

We’re excited to announce the release of quickConnect v2.11, bringing powerful personalization features, UI enhancements, and expanded integration capabilities across kiosks and remoteLocker systems. These updates support a more seamless experience for patrons and give libraries even more control and flexibility. 

rememberMe: A personalized kiosk experience 

libraryConnect LINK preferences

 

Patrons can now save preferences—language, text size, theme, and event categories—directly at the kiosk. These settings automatically apply each time they use any quickConnect-enabled device, including the remoteLockers.

▪︎ Enables targeted promotion display (e.g., kids’ events, workshops) 
▪︎ Opt-in/out functionality ensures full patron control 

 

This feature helps libraries deliver a consistent and personalized experience across branches, while giving patrons more control and comfort every time they use a kiosk. 

 

Holiday-Themed Icon Sets

New Easter and Halloween icon sets are now available for quickConnect kiosks. These seasonal themes provide a fun, playful UI refresh that’s easily enabled through System Manager or libraryConnect LINK. Designed to be temporary and fully customizable, these icons offer an engaging way to bring the library’s personality to life and can help spark seasonal promotions or community events.

remoteLocker: Scan to Open 
Patrons can now open all assigned lockers at once by simply scanning their library card. This enhancement streamlines the pickup process and significantly improves the user experience for those collecting multiple items—especially families or patrons with several holds—by removing extra steps and making remote pickup faster and more convenient.  

 

Dual ILS Support 
quickConnect now supports connections to two ILS/LMS systems simultaneously—ideal for libraries that share spaces or run joint operations. 

▪︎ Auto-selects ILS based on patron or item ID format 
▪︎ Fully supported for loans and returns 
▪︎ Not currently compatible with payments 

By automatically selecting the correct system per transaction, this update helps eliminate confusion in shared environments and ensures a smoother experience for both patrons and staff. 

 

Email Receipts for Stripe Payments 
Libraries using Stripe for card payments can now enable email receipts—on kiosks and remoteLockers.

▪︎ Reduces paper waste 

This update supports eco-conscious operations and offers a more convenient, modern option for patrons who prefer digital over printed receipts.
